You Are Not Alone, We Are Here To Help
You may feel that you do not have the ability to raise a child, but there is help available to you. With the support of caring people, parenting classes and other resources, you will find the help you need to make this choice.
Call us and we can talk with you about referrals, financial assistance and parenting classes. We provide mentors to help you through every step of the process.
Adoption is a wonderful alternative to single parenthood that is overlooked by many women. It may be the best choice for you and a loving choice for your baby. Realize that you are not alone. Each year over 50,000 women in America make this choice.
Many believe that following through with adoption would be too hard. The fact is, any decision you make will be hard.
With adoption you can still experience the joy of bringing a life into the world, and you can also be reassured that you did everything in your power to give him or her the best possible opportunities in life. Of all your options, adoption gives you the most control and flexibility. You have the power to choose a family, as well as how much contact (if any) you will have with your child.
Ray of Hope is not an adoption agency and does not act as one. We are independent of adoption agencies and of independent adoption counselors, referring clients to them as other helpful resources. We do not initiate or facilitate independent adoptions.
Earn While You Learn Program
Earn While You Learn is an educational program designed to help you become the best parent you possibly can be, while at the same time giving you the opportunity to earn some of the things you need to care for the physical needs of your baby.
You can earn “Mommy Bucks” or "Daddy Bucks" to purchase these and other items while you learn important information
vital to raising your child in a healthy, happy environment.
Parents are able to purchase brand new and “like new” items in our Baby Boutique. The more you learn, the more you earn!
During months of pregnancy, there are many concerns for
most new parents about pregnancy and how to meet the needs of the baby after birth. Concerns about discipline and growing children arise later. Parents are able to receive information about loving discipline, safety and much more!
Education is done on an individual basis. Upon enrollment the client chooses the day of the week they will have their
classes. Our classes are listed according to topic.
At Ray of Hope, clients receive support in a variety of ways from the moment that a new life is confirmed, through the
pregnancy, and until the baby is two years old.
A new client establishes a trusting relationship with her mentor, someone that's there to listen, love and support
her and her baby. All the fear, loneliness, pain, doubt, and dreams are shared in that relationship along with hope,
education, and truth of God's values.
Our program for those facing an unexpected pregnancy provides long-lasting relationships, education and practical gifts of clothing, baby food and furniture. This is how lives are changed and healthy, secure families are established.
Those who are pregnant for the first time or their oldest child is younger than two (2) are eligible to become a new client and receive our free and confidential services. We provide emergency support for families in our communities.
